Privacy Policy
This explains what we collect when you shop with TapNest, why we need it, and who else handles it.

What we collect
To process an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address and the details of what you bought. We also keep a record of your order history so we can answer questions and handle returns. Basic technical information, such as your browser type, is logged when you visit the store so that we can keep it working and secure.
Card details
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure checkout page. Your card number never reaches our store or our systems, and we cannot see or store it. Stripe processes payments in line with PCI-DSS, the card industry security standard, and has its own privacy notice covering that data.
How we use your information
We use it to take payment, ship your order, send your receipt and tracking details, answer support requests, process refunds, and meet our tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we only send marketing email if you have asked for it.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the services that help us run the store: Stripe for payment, our shipping carriers for delivery, our email provider for receipts, and our hosting and database provider for storing order records. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, normally several years. After that we delete or anonymise them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email support@example.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
The store keeps your cart in your browser's own storage so it survives a page refresh. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
The store is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the updated version here. Significant changes will be highlighted on the store.
